Job Details

Job Purpose

Under the direction of the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Director will oversee, coordinate, and participate in the development and implementation of marketing strategies for the organization’s venue and golf club campaigns across several networks and channels. This role will work with marketing vendors and partners to launch campaigns and build marketing/advertising plans that align with each brands’ goals. They will assist in setting budgets and provide feedback on marketing results and processes. This role will work on a wide range of marketing programs including social influencer programs, email marketing and lifecycle programs, social media, PR, events, and will also assist with managing third party agencies. This role will work closely and collaboratively with the Head of Marketing and Partnerships, to maintain productive relationships with our external partners. They will own and develop multi-channel brand image growth campaigns.

 

Responsibilities

 

Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Develop and implement cohesive marketing plans to increase brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty across golf and private events
  • Oversee and lead implementation of the brands across all touchpoints and maintain brand guidelines
  • Lead the execution of multi-channel campaigns (email, digital, social, print, PR, influencer)
  • Leverage marketing insights to drive customer research to inform brand priorities
  • Oversee and uphold brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to align on strategy and execution
  • Support copywriting efforts (e.g., press releases, ad copy, landing pages) when needed
  • Assist in launching and maintaining lifecycle marketing strategies (email flows, CRM-driven outreach)
  • Proactively identify new opportunities to promote the brands via numerous platforms and advertising avenues

Operations & Infrastructure

  • Build and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and marketing workflows across the organization
  • Direct and implement the organization’s advertising and promotional activities
  • Establish campaign planning tools, content calendars, and review checkpoints for brand consistency
  • Support onboarding and training of field teams on brand guidelines and marketing systems
  • Maintain and evolve brand asset libraries, ensuring current and consistent resources for all locations

Analytics & Optimization

  • Analyze target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing strategies
  • Prepare effective advertising campaigns based on market research
  • Maintain knowledge on emerging products and services
  • Collaborate with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization
  • Forecast, draft, implement, and oversee the department’s operating budget
  • Define KPIs for marketing success aligned with company goals
  • Identify new partners, platforms, and optimization opportunities to drive campaign performance for all brands

Vendor & Team Coordination

  • Serve as the key point person with advertising platform representatives at third-party networks and agencies
  • Work with management teams and marketing head to set plans, goals, and provide reporting and campaign feedback
  • Coordinate marketing, social media and cross-departmental strategies to create compelling and creative promotions
  • Review and give feedback on creative assets to ensure alignment with campaign goals and brand standards

Brand Development & Creative Leadership

  • Proactively identify new opportunities to promote the brand across paid and organic channels.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to inform campaign themes and seasonal strategies.
  • Partner with the Head of Marketing to reposition the brand within the hospitality and golf sector.

 

Additional Information

Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in social media, customer support/service, and/or account management
  • Prior PR/social media experience with an agency or in-house at an entertainment brand a plus
  • Knowledge of effective advertising mediums
  • Experience working with MacOS, Adobe, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Canva, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, or paid social tools
  • Experience working with creative vendors and digital agencies
  • Experience in writing print, electronic advertising campaigns, and coordinating special events
  • Operate a personal computer and use required applications
  • Must have a globally minded perspective, with the ability to be considerate of different perspectives and cultural differences
  • Ability to stand for hours at a time assisting with venue openings and other projects
  • Ability to travel, unassisted to special events and to support major initiatives.

 

 Education

  • BS or BA in accounting
  • Three to six years of relevant accounting experience
  • CPA preferred
